USB 2.0 vs USB 3.0: Transfer Speed

The main difference is potential data-transfer speed: USB 3.0 offers a higher speed ceiling than USB 2.0.

USB 2.0: The USB standard supports a theoretical maximum signaling rate of 480 Mbps. A practical choice for occasional transfers and smaller files.
USB 3.0: The USB standard supports a theoretical maximum signaling rate of 5 Gbps. The better choice for faster transfers of large photo or video collections when used with a sufficiently fast memory card and a compatible USB 3.0 port.

These figures describe the USB standards, not tested read/write speeds for this card reader. Actual performance depends on the reader hardware, memory card, computer port, and files being transferred. A USB 2.0 host connection limits the USB 3.0 version to USB 2.0 connection speeds.

Choose Your Version

Select the USB version and color before ordering. USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 are separate variants.

Supported card capacities, operating systems, and simultaneous card access are not specified. Confirm compatibility with your equipment before ordering.

Good good fast delever

👍👍👍

It arrived in good condition, looks identical to the photo, just need to see how it works and how useful it is.

I had previously bought from this store and it is definitely a quality product; it works without problems and is indeed USB 3.0, so don't expect speeds higher than 5 Gbit/s.
